Abstract: | This research aims to analyze, design, create, evaluate the suitability, and assess the acceptance of a prototype motion graphic media for communicating and enhancing knowledge about the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) for new-generation university students. The sample group consisted of 15 purposively selected experts and 163 students from the Animation, Games, and Digital Media program at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, selected by simple random sampling. The research instruments included a structured interview form, a suitability evaluation form, and a motion graphic media acceptance evaluation form. Statistical analysis of the data involved mean and standard deviation. The research found that the motion graphics prototype presented fundamental principles through real-life situations relevant to students, using storytelling techniques through distinctive characters, flat design with minimalist lines, and techniques such as easing and visual metaphor to explain complex concepts. The appropriateness evaluation by experts was at a high level (x ̅= 4.37, S.D. = 0.48). The appropriateness evaluation by the sample group was also at a high level (x ̅= 4.35, S.D. = 0.63). The acceptance evaluation of the motion graphics showed an overall high level (x ̅= 4.28, S.D. = 0.62). The research results indicate that the motion graphics prototype can effectively communicate and enhance knowledge about the Personal Data Protection Act for new generation students and is well accepted by the target audience. |
