Participatory risk management for road accident prevention in Ban Tha Sai Community, Bang Len District, Nakhon Pathom Province

Abstract

This paper is aim to offer risk management. And present the achievement and results, managing the risks point paticipated to prevent road accidents in Ban Tha Sai community. The key points are as follows The development of mechanisms to manage risk point paticipated to prevent road accident in the community. Caused by the problems and needs of all people in the community who want the community to manage risks in order to prevent road accidents and reduce accidents in community. As the process of managing risk point paticipated, by the community-centered development. Since the joint planning, find the risk point, analysis of risks, improve risk, surveillance and follow assessment. The success and results from risk management point to prevent road accidents that occurred in the community. Not caused a particular person, but due to the participation of the people in the community with the support of agency network both inside and outside community. That is important factor that contribute to the risk of road in the community have been managed, reduced accidents and was a success in a concrete community.
