This cross-sectional survey aimed to examine the relationships between personal factors, knowledge, and stress strategies with stress among patients with diabetes mellitus type 2, receiving care at Klai Ban Klai Jai 3 Medical Clinic in Bang Phlat District, Bangkok. The sample included 224 physician-diagnosed patients. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi-square test, and Pearson’s correlation. Results showed that most participants were female 60.3 percent, aged 61–70 years 46.9 percent, unskilled laborers 21.4 percent, with a monthly income of 500–9,999 baht 62.6 percent. A majority were married 65.1 percent, had completed senior high school or equivalent 39.3 percent, held Universal Healthcare Coverage 93.4 percent, and had diabetes for less than five years 38.8 percent. Most had a moderate level of stress 55.8 percent and diabetes knowledge 47.3 percent. Problem-focused coping was most used, at a moderate level (¯x= 3.35). The study found that knowledge about diabetes and stress coping strategies had no statistically significant relationship with stress (p>0.05). However, age had a negative statistically significant relationship with stress (p < 0.05), indicating that older patients experienced lower stress levels. The study recommends that KlaiBan KlaiJai 3 Medical Clinic in Bangkok should organize stress coping activities tailored to patients’ age groups to enhance the care of individuals with type 2 diabetes.en_US
