Abstract: | Research on “Photography Process for News Production of Ejan Page” This research aims to understand 1. Studying the photography process for news production of Ejan Page 2. Studying the principles and techniques of effective news photography. For this reason, the researcher is interested in studying according to the above objectives, which uses qualitative research methods by conducting in-depth interviews with all 6 photographers of Ejan Page, Using the conceptual framework of visual storytelling, visual communication, and photography techniques as the main approaches to approaching the problem. The study found that the process of taking photos to produce news for the Ejan page must assess which areas are accessible for taking photos. Then start taking pictures of the overall atmosphere, followed by the main event, the victim, and the officers. When finished taking pictures, check the pictures. Select the photos and send them back to the editorial team. In terms of photography techniques, we will focus on the composition of the photos. Especially when it comes to light and focus, choosing the right lens can greatly determine the mood and feeling. The long shot will give you a wide-angle view. The close-up will give you a detailed image to capture the emotion of the image. Ejan Page will focus on images that clearly convey emotion. When I saw it, I understood it and felt that it was appropriate for the news content, taking into account ethics and respect for the people in the picture. |
