Abstract: Buckling Restrained Braces (BRB) are high-performance earthquake-resistant devices. However, a major challenge in structural analysis is the discrepancy between computer simulation models and actual behavior observed in laboratories. Therefore, this study investigates methods for creating macro-level models of Buckling Restrained Braces (BRB) to ensure that computer simulation results are reliable and can be confidently used to simulate various scenarios without the need for repetitive experimental testing. This research focuses on the calibration and verification of BRB macro-level models by comparing computer simulation results with actual experimental results under cyclic loading. Furthermore, the developed models incorporate specific material parameters unique to Buckling Restrained Braces to serve as a guideline for future application of these models.
