Approaches to Developing a Hotel to Meet Green Hotel Standards Case Study: Baan Suan Bang Toe Riverside Hotel, Bang Toe Sub-district, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Study the context of Baan Suan Bangtoey Riverside Hotel, located in Bangtoey Subdistrict, Samphran District, Nakhon Pathom Province. 2) Explore the development strategies for Baan Suan Bangtoey Riverside Hotel to meet Green Hotel standards. The research adopts a qualitative research design. The data collection tools include interviews and focus group discussions. Data analysis will be conducted to draw conclusions and present the findings in a descriptive format. The research results showed that the guidelines for hotel development to meet the Green Hotel standards. Case study of Ban Suan Bang Toei Riverside Hotel, Bang Toei Subdistrict, Sampran District, Nakhon Pathom Province using an interview about 1) found that Baan Suan Bang Toei Riverside Hotel is a hotel next to the Tha Chin River near tourist attractions. There are facilities such as a meeting room or ferry services. Surrounded by nature Focus on being a green hotel and ready to develop further 2) guidelines for Ban Suan Bang Toei Homestay Hotel, Bang Toei Subdistrict, Sampran District, Nakhon Pathom Province to meet the standards. Green Hotel has come out as a model for development to meet the criteria of the Green Hotel Sustainability Standard Green Hotel Pyramid for Environmental Practices by using development from simple methods for a short time to a long development method.
