Satisfactions of the students towards the library service at Bangplama “Soongsumarnpadungwit” School, Bangplama District, Suphanburi Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study conditions in using services on library service of the students. 2) to study satisfaction of the students in using services on library service; and 3) to compare of satisfaction of the students in using services on library service at Bangplama “Soongsumarnpadungwit” School, Bangplama District, Suphanburi Province classified by gender and grades. The samples of this study were 334 students of Bangplama “Soongsumarnpadungwit” School, Bangplama District, Suphanburi Province in the first semester of 2021 academic year. The research instrument was questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results of this research showed that: 1) students access to library services 5-6 days a week, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (lunch break, round 1), search for information resources by walking through the bookshelf without using a search engine, use general book service, and the purpose of using service was surfing the Internet. 2) the students had overall satisfaction on library service at a high level. With the most satisfaction is in the field of personnel, followed by information resources and accession. Public relations, environment and service; and 3) the students of different genders and grades had satisfaction on library service overall difference at a statistically significant level of .05.
