Abstract: | The objectives of this research were: 1) to study reading behavior on the ReadAWrite application of reader members in Facebook network. 2) to study reading problems on the ReadAWrite application of reader members in Facebook network; and 3) to compare of reading problems on the ReadAWrite application of reader members in Facebook network classified by gender, age and occupation. The samples were 389 reader members of ReadAWrite application in Facebook network. The research instrument was questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and one-way ANOVA. The results of this research showed that: 1) reader members read more than 6 times a week, read about 1 hour or more, during 20.01 p.m.-24.00 p.m., more than 5 titles, by using a smartphone to read in fiction category, and their purposes were to read fiction or cartoon. 2) the reader members had overall reading problems at a low level. In regarding of work aspects were the most problem because the search method was complicated; and 3) the reader of different genders, ages and occupations had no overall reading problems. |
