Abstract: Presently cows are considered as an important economic animal in Thailand. The farmers raise cows as their primary source of income. At the same time, there are some cows that have escaped from the farm or house and go to create trouble for the villagers. In addition, the cows were stolen also cause damage to the caregiver. This paper aims to study and develop a real-time cow tracking system using a global positioning system (GPS) so as to prevent a cow escapes from the farm creating trouble for community. The developed system can notify the escaped cows via the mobile application and can see its position. Specifically, our system utilizes a GPS module in conjunction with a microcontroller board to assist in determining the position. Results show that the developed system can correctly see the position of the escaped cows in real time through the mobile application and send a notification via Line Notify to the caregiver when the cows leaves the specified area.
