The Development of Online Platform for Finding Travelling Companions

Abstract

This research aims to develop an online platform for finding travel companions according to a concept of the sharing economy in order to save travelling expense. The system will focus on the safety by providing a module to the administrator to verify user identity. The system also provides users to search for traveling information. In addition, users who are interested in the same activities can also communicate through the system. The satisfaction assessment of the use of the online platform for finding travelling companions by the sample of users is the highest average level of satisfaction with the mean is 4.55 and the standard deviation is 0.57.
