Abstract: Buddhism and the environment have been dependent on each other since the Buddhist time by applying the truth of the Lord Buddha in living with the environment. In today's society, the environmental problem is of great talk. This is mainly caused by this trend where mankind wants to possess nature Industrial development and various technologies. Therefore making human needs are unlimited. Man as a rational animal. Know how to use wisdom in decision-making. Human beings have to be careful of their actions by relying on the truth of the Lord Buddha to instill the consciousness of the people in society to have a good conscience for the environment. That is “When suffering arises so the problem is human.” Make human beings aware and discern the problem of loss and environmental degradation. Human beings therefore see the importance of the environment and trying to find a way to conserve the environment. However, It is time for humans to rethink their view of nature and life to stop the destruction of nature before it's too late. Objective results 1) The analysis results showed that various problems Of the environment most of them are caused by human beings. Be it deforestation Invading forest farming, sawing, floating Throwing garbage into rivers and canals. 2) From the study of the Buddha's history, it was found that the Buddha was very close to nature from the very beginning to the end. When the lord Buddha was still a royal child Lord Sutthothana, Prince Siddhartha's father, built a castle for 3 seasons to give their son a good life. But Prince Siddhartha turned away from the blessed life in the palace. He seeks the truth in the natural environment such as forests, caves, mountains, rivers and streams and enlightened the Sammasamphiya under the Bodhi tree on the bank of the Nerachaya River.
