Abstract: The objective of this research was to study nursing students' opinions on education by using a simulation. The samples consisted of 96 first year nursing students from the Faculty of Nursing, Bangkok Thonburi University who studied basic nursing science with no experience in the ward. The research instrument was satisfaction questionnaire and self-confidence questionnaire, applied from the National League for nursing (2005). Data analysis using descriptive statistics included percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results of the study showed the highest mean score of satisfaction regarding learning with simulation demonstrating that the teaching method is useful and suitable for enhancing learning experiences (􀀛 􀴥 􀀃= 4.24, SD = 0.66). The mean score of self-confidence after attending Simulation-based Learning was also highest as the sample perceived that they gained knowledge equivalent to the real classroom (􀀛 􀴥􀀃= 4.36, SD = 0.58). The results of research are useful information for promoting learning management system using a s Simulation-based education for nursing students.
