dc.description.abstract | This survey research aimed to study the level of knowledge about diabetes, the level of health care behavior, and the relationship between knowledge about diabetes and health care behavior of diabetic patients in the area under the responsibility of Nikhom Sang Ton Khun Thale Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Mueang District, Surat Thani Province. The population was 320 people and the sample was 175 diabetic patients in the area under the responsibility of Nikhom Sang Ton Khun Thale Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital. The sample group was calculated using Crazy and Morgan's formula. Data were collected using a questionnaire and collected during December 2024 - January 2025. Data were analyzed using statistics, frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. And the Spearman correlation coefficient The research results found that 77 diabetic patients had high level of knowledge, accounting for 44.0 percent, 90 patients, accounting for 51.4 percent, and 8 patients, accounting for 4.6 percent, had the highest level of behavior, 61 patients, accounting for 34.9 percent, followed by low level, 32 patients, accounting for 18.3 percent, high level, 31 patients, accounting for 17.7 percent, moderate level, 29 patients, accounting for 16.6 percent, and lowest level, 22 patients, accounting for 12.6 percent. Overall, it can be concluded that diabetic patients had the highest level of behavior and knowledge of diabetes was related to health care behavior at a very low level, p-value 0.045 with statistical significance of 0.05 | en_US |
