dc.description.abstractThis study has three objectives: to develop an Android game to assist users in memorizing the names and symbols of various elements, to investigate the game’s effect on users’ learning achievement, and to evaluate users’ satisfaction levels. The game is intended to serve as an educational tool that integrates academic content with engaging gameplay, enhancing enjoyment during use. Given the vital role technology plays in modern digital education, this game was developed to stimulate student enthusiasm and enhance tangible improvements in chemistry. The researcher analyzed content comprising elements commonly encountered in daily life, examined the game mechanics, and emphasized the importance of a user-friendly interface. Additionally, the design concept prioritized a matching activity between element names and their corresponding symbols, which naturally reinforced memory of the subject matter. The game enabled players to choose items and could record scores based on varying difficulty levels. After development, the researcher conducted an experiment with 20 participants, all of whom were Grade 8 students, and the experimental results showed that they were able to improve their academic performance following gameplay, with an average satisfaction level rated as good level.en_US
