Abstract: | This research aims: 1) 1. to study the participation of staff involving communication, leadership, motivation to work, and benefit of quality improvement by pursuing hospital accreditation in the dental hospital faculty of dentistry Khon Kaen university; 2) to study about problem, obstacle, and suggestion in participatory among staff in quality improvement program. The research design was mixed method, used questionnaire and interview as the tools implemented. The population of the research was 93 dental hospital staff randomized by stratified random method. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistic, relation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The result showed: in communication factor the average total score was in high level ((x̅= 3.91, S.D = 0.68), in leadership factor the average total score was in high level (x̅= 4.03, S.D = 0.73 ) especially in the factor showing the executive had obvious goal in working discipline, which was in highest level (x̅= 4.26, S.D = 0.60 ), in work motivation factor the average total score was in high level (x̅= 3.74, S.D = 0.74), and in benefit of hospital accreditation program the average total score was in high level (x̅= 4 . 0 3, S.D = 0.73 ) , especially in the point that it helped in increasing service taker acceptance, which was averagely in highest level (x̅= 4 . 2 9, S.D = 0 . 6 0 ) as same as, the program helped in promoting efficiency of working practice among the staffs (x̅= 4 . 2 2, S. D = 0 . 6 4) . Problems, obstacles, and suggestions were: 1. Service quality improvement program should be implemented continually and have obvious assessment program, 2. It should be participated by overall staffs, 3. The faculty instructors and other staff should have more participation, 4. Each of the clinic instructors should be part of standard prescription with other staffs |
