Abstract: The objectives of this research are to 1) study various problems of chemical laboratory and chemicals storage room 2) develop the classification process of chemicals and hazardous waste management for safety standards upgrading in chemicals laboratory, Department of Chemistry, A4 Building, Faculty of Science and Technology, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University 3) study the satisfaction of using chemical laboratory and chemicals storage room of service user in A4 building. Sample group is the second and third year totaling 91 students of chemistry program in Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Science in the academic year of 2020. The sample group were sampling by specific selective method from students who come to use the services of chemical laboratory and chemicals storage room in A4 Building. The service user interview form and satisfaction assessment were used as the research instrument. The results of the research were as follows: 1) the chemical laboratory problems are lacking of safety equipment, no trash can that separates the hazardous waste and throwing them together, inadequate lighting in chemical laboratory, cramped place, no space for disposal of hazardous waste bottle when completing the experiment. For chemicals storage room, the chemicals are difficult to find, not categorized, no chemical hazard symbol, unclear name, not indicate the code and chemical hazard symbol in front of the chemicals storage cabinet, and no material safety data sheet (SDS) of the chemicals. 2) develop chemicals management process and hazardous waste management in accordance with the principle of the laboratory safety improvement project in Thailand in the development of chemical laboratory and chemicals storage room, Building A4, 2nd floor, Department of Chemistry. 3) satisfaction results in using chemical laboratory and chemicals storage room were divided into 3 aspects as follows; 1) the satisfaction of service user in terms of convenience and speed, the highest level of satisfaction (average value of 4.54) 2) the satisfaction service user in terms of safety, the highest level (average value of 4.59) 3) the satisfaction of service user in terms of location, at the highest level (average value of 4.46). In conclusion, the highest level of satisfaction scores was found in all 3 aspects from the service user on chemical laboratory and chemicals storage rooms. It showed that after the development of chemical laboratory and chemicals storage room, the laboratory is convenient to use, rapid to service and very safe to the service user.
