Improving efficiency of product labels storage room and applying the Line Chat Bot application to help search for products a Case Study of Thai Coconut Company Limited

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the efficiency of product label storage by analyzing data and identifying storage locations. Line Chat Bot technology was used to locate labels and reduce search time. The theoretical frameworks used were; the applying commodity storage systems to classify product labels, the theory of visual control for labeling indicating the storage location and, the 5S principle to improve product label storage space. Afterward, the LINE Chat Bot application was applied to be used as a tool to record the location of product label storage and to be able to search for the storage location through the application. The study discovered that by increasing the storage area and implementing identification codes and the Line Chat Bot application, the average operating time was reduced from 22 minutes 13 seconds to 3 minutes 11 seconds. This improvement resulted in a 19-minute 2-second reduction in operating time and an 85.67% increase in operating efficiency.
