Abstract: | This research aims to 1) study guidelines for the operation of the village headman in the epidemic situation of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) 2) to study the suggestions for the operation of the village headman in the epidemic situation of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The population was village headman in Mueang Ratchaburi District, Ratchaburi Province 187 persons were the sample group. The data were analyzed using quantitative research methodology by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis. As a result of the research, the overall operational guidelines for the operation of the village headman in the epidemic situation of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) was the most high, and considering each in order of descending order in terms of self-defense behavior, welfare and compensation, caring for physical and mental health, workplace safety management and occupational health and work environment, management operational regulations, office management, tools, materials, equipment and technology to work, performance reporting, public relations communication and coordination, and job characteristics and work patterns. The suggestions for the operation of the village headman in the epidemic situation of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) as follows: in terms of self-defense behavior, they should learn how to prevent disease by themselves and pass on the knowledge to villagers properly. Welfare and compensation, they should be provided that are appropriate for the performance of duties both on time and off time. Caring for physical and mental health, they should exercise regularly to keep their body strong and control their mind strong through meditation. Workplace safety management and occupational health and work environment, they should provide a safe place sanitary and has a low risk of operating. Regulatory and control strict measures should be established and problems can be solved promptly. Office management, tools, materials, equipment and technology to work, they should be procured medical materials, equipment and technology to adapt to the situation. Performance reporting, public relations communication and coordination, they should be a wide distribution of information using various channels and a multilateral cooperation network. Job characteristics and workload, they should be arranged work schedules in line with the mission responsible for effective treatment of villagers in villages and sub-districts. |
