Using Wordwall Game in Mathematical Learning Activities to Promote the Academic Achievement of Pythagoras Theorem for Matthayom 2 Students, Latyaowitthayakom School

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1) to compare the learning achievements before and after using the Wordwall game in Mathematical learning activities of Pythagoras theorem for Mathayomsuksa 2 students, and 2) to examine the levels of students’ satisfaction with learning activities by using Word wall of Pythagoras theorem. The sample consisted of 38 Mathayomsuksa 2 students, Ladyaowittayakom school, Nakornsawan, obtained by cluster the random sampling. The employed research instrument was the 8 lesson plans, the Word wall game of Pythagoras theorem, pretest, posttest, and the satisfaction questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using the percentage, the arithmetic means, the standard deviation, and dependent t-test statistics. The study revealed that 1) the learning outcomes of Mathayomsuksa 2 students after using Word wall in Mathematical learning activities of Pythagoras theorem were higher than before learning with the statistical significance at the .05level, and 2) the satisfaction of Mathayomsuksa 2 students towards using Word wall in Mathematical learning activities of Pythagoras theorem was at the highest level, with the mean of 4.43
