Abstract: | Cross-sectional descriptive research The objective of this study was to study the relationship between health literacy and health behaviors of students of Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University. The sample group was 340 regular students of Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, the academic year 2021, randomly selected by stratification. research tools The questionnaire was developed from the health literacy and health behavior assessment form according to 3E.2S. of people aged 15 years and over, updated version 2018 of the Department of Health Service Support. The correlation of variables was analyzed using Pearson chi-square and Pearson correlation Coefficient statistics. The results showed that health literacy health cognition Access to information and health services health communication self-management Media Literacy and the right decision-making Most of them were at a moderate 63.8%, 77.1%, 67.1%, 70.6%, 55.0%, and 73.8% respectively. Most of them were at a moderate 67.1%. As for the main health behaviors 3E.2S, it was found that food intake fitness Emotional and smoking In the moderate 69.4%, 62.4%, 61.5% and 52.9% respectively. Most of them had good behavior. 65.5% of overall health behaviors were moderate at 66.8%. Health Cognitive Skills access to information self-management Media literacy and correct discrimination decisions and health literacy and overall health behaviors were related to health behaviors according to the 3E.2S. principles. statistically significant (r=.124 p=.022), (r=.246 p=.000), (r=.288 p=.000), (r=.294 p=.000), (r=1.000 p=.000) and (r=.348 p=.000) respectively. Health communication skills were not related to health behaviors according to 3E.2S. Suggestion : The development of health literacy should be promoted. and having to change health behaviors for the better especially smoking and drinking. |
