Abstract: The purposes of this research were 1) to compare learning achievement in physics 1 on work and energy of a first year Physics student after learning between STEM education learning group with Traditional learning compare with 70 percent criterion. 2) To survey towards satisfaction STEM education learning with Traditional learning. The target group in the research is 12 a first year Physics student, selected by specific selection. Research tools are 1) learning management plans using teaching physics1 STEM education on work and energy. And 2) learning management plans using physics1 Traditional teaching on work and energy. The tools used for collecting data are 1) teaching test STEM education with Traditional teaching because of physics1 educational measure achievement on work and energy. And 2) satisfaction questionnaire towards STEM education teaching with Traditional teaching used in data analysis such as percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Item-Objective Congruence Index (IOC) The research found that are 1) Academic achievement in physics1 on work and energy after studying between STEM education learning group higher than learning Traditional teaching compare with 70 percent criterion. And 2) Satisfaction results towards STEM education teaching better Traditional teaching and is in very criterion.
