The Synthesis of Research Package to Integrating Augmented Reality Technology for Promoting Knowledge in the community of Muangkaen Pattana Municipality, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province

Abstract

The purpose of this research project was to synthesize a research package to integrating augmented reality technology for promoting knowledge in the field of tourism, Conservation of local wisdom, Elderly care for bed group, medicinal plants and agriculture for the community of Muangkaen Pattana Municipality. The target group was five projects of research in a research package funded by National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). The tools used to collect data were the research log and the summary of research synthesis. The results of the synthesis as following: 1) The basics of the research consisted of 5 research subjects which were research and development types. The target group included people living in Muangkaen Pattana Municipality, Chiangmai. The tools used to collect data were interview form and questionnaire. The data was analyzed using content analysis methods. The statistics used in the quantitative data analysis were frequency and average. 2 ) The research results consisted of five aspects: tourism, Conservation of local wisdom, Elderly care, medicinal plants and agriculture. 3) The research's knowledge synthesis results focused on developing innovations using augmented reality to promote knowledge in the community. 4) The research recommendation was that people involved need to have skills and competence in the use of augmented reality technology. And 5) The results of the satisfaction on the integrating augmented reality technology in the overall were at a high level.
