Creating Gastronomic Tourism Route Based on The Principles of Experiential Tourism to Promote Tourism in Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to : 1) study information of the context area in Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province; 2) find the context of food in the area in Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province and 3) create a food tourism route based on the principles of learning tourism To promote tourism in Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province. There are 5 main informant groups as follows: 1. Relevant agencies 2. Community leaders 3. Entrepreneurs in Phutthamonthon 4. People in the area 5. Tourists. This research studied the primary data and secondary data collected from the primary data and secondary data. The tools used in the study were in-depth interviews for data analysis. Use the information from the interviews to analyze the content according to the issue. (Content Analysis) and the results were presented in a form of explanation. and sorted by the issues studied and research objectives. The research results found that : 1) Context of Phutthamonthon District there are 3 sub-districts and 18 villages consisting of Salaya sub-district Mahasawat Sub-district, Khlong Yong Sub-district. People in the area prefer to work in agriculture, rice fields, lotus fields, and fruit orchards. Causing the products obtained from cultivation to be used in cooking and made into products. 2) Food context information in Phutthamonthon District Food in the area of Phutthamonthon Nakhon Pathom Province is similar to other provinces because it is in the central region as well. Types of food are similar, for example, boiled, stirfried, curry, fried, but the food in the Phutthamonthon District is unique, that is, using local ingredients to cook. 3) Food tourism route Phutthamonthon To accommodate tourists who will travel to travel. which can create a route to learn about food and local way of life there are 2 routes:: Route 1 Recite way of people life Phutthamonthon. and Route 2 Experience the smell of the soil and visit Phutthamonthon.
