The Application of Text Editor Program – Notepad++ for Distance Learning Programming Subject in COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Distance learning in Covid-19 pandemic caused a significant change and affected learning and teaching. Especially, a course that requires operations such as computer programming, etc. This article has collected and introduced the use of Notepad ++ text editor program with NppFTP add-on for remote teaching and learning. The instructors and students can proceed through the network and can run the program through the network well. The author described the installation details, group creation and management for readers to be able to apply for distance learning especially in the practice of computer programming.
