This research aimed to study the formulation of herbal shampoo from Thai herbs, to evaluate the effectiveness of the herbal shampoo, and to examine the stability of the herbal shampoo. The study employed an experimental research design. Two herbal shampoo formulations were prepared using extracts from Thai herbs, including butterfly pea flower, kaffir lime, and aloe vera. The formulations were evaluated in terms of physical characteristics, cleansing effectiveness, and product stability. The results showed that the herbal extracts were compatible with the shampoo base, resulting in two herbal shampoo formulations: a clear liquid shampoo and a lotion-type shampoo. Both formulations exhibited desirable physical characteristics. The effectiveness evaluation indicated that both herbal shampoo formulations effectively cleansed the hair, improved hair softness, reduced frizz, provided a pleasant fragrance, decreased scalp oiliness, and enhanced hair smoothness. No significant differences in effectiveness were observed between the two formulations. Stability testing revealed minor changes, including slight turbidity and a mild rancid odor; however, no phase separation or lump formation was observed. In conclusion, the herbal shampoo formulated from Thai herbs demonstrated satisfactory effectiveness and stability, indicating its potential for further development and application as a herbal shampoo product in the future.en_US
