This research aimed to develop 3D learning media on “Pikad-Ya 3 Sing” and to compare the academic achievement between the experimental and control groups using pre-test scores as a covariate. The sample consisted of 46 Thai Traditional Medicine students, selected through purposive sampling. The participants were assigned into groups using a matched pairs design followed by random assignment, resulting in 23 students in the experimental group and 23 students in the control group. The research instruments included the 3D learning media on Pikad-Ya 3 Sing, an academic achievement test, and a satisfaction evaluation form. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). The results revealed that after controlling for the influence of pre-test scores, the experimental group achieved significantly higher academic performance than the control group (F = 229.59, p <.01, 2 = .84). Furthermore, students in the experimental group reported the highest level of satisfaction with the 3D learning media. This was attributed to the media's ability to provide a realistic, multi-dimensional view of the distinct characteristics of herbs within the formulas, which effectively enhanced retention and understanding compared to traditional learning methods.en_US
