The Development of an Online Lesson in the Technology (Computational Science) for Grade 6 Students at Wat Takong School (Ratratbamrung)

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to: 1) develop an online lesson on Technology (Computing Science) for Grade 6 students; 2) compare students' learning achievement before and after using the online lesson; and 3) study students' satisfaction towards the online lesson. The sample consisted of 20 Grade 6 students, selected by Purposive Sampling. The research instruments included: 1) the online lesson; 2) media evaluation forms for content and technical aspects; 3) a learning achievement test; and 4) a student satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and dependent samples t-test. The research findings revealed that: 1) the overall appropriateness of the online lesson evaluated by content and media production experts was at the highest level (𝑥̅ = 4.58, S.D. = 0.29); 2) the students' post-test learning achievement was statistically significantly higher than their pre-test score at the .05 level; and 3) the students' overall satisfaction towards the online lesson was at the highest level (𝑥̅ = 4.80, S.D. = 0.30).
