Development of online meeting room reservation

Abstract

This research presents the development of an online meeting room reservation system. The goal is to transition from traditional meeting rooms reservation methods, such as verbal requests or paper records, to a user simple online system. The system is designed to streamline the reservation conference rooms process for both conference room administrators and personnel needing the conference rooms. The online meeting room reservation system allows administrators to manage meeting rooms reservations efficiently, its can check, add, delete, edit, and record meeting rooms reservation information, as well as generate summary reports. Users can reservations a meeting room by selecting the desired room, date, and time through a web application interfacing. The system is developed as a web application to interface with the user of meeting rooms reservation service. The meeting rooms reservation data is recorded using the Google Sheets application. The system was tested by the researchers simulating both Users and Administrators. Users can reservation meeting rooms by scanning a QR code and filling out the reservation form, which includes the date, time, name, phone number, meeting room, and duration for use meeting room. The system accurately records the reservation information and sends a confirmation email to the user. Administrators can review reservation details, make reservations, cancel reservation, modify reservation and generate accurate reservation reports.
