Abstract: This article presents a form of communication Trauma through the character "Shane" in the story Malila, the main character of the story with trauma, using the concept of psychology literature. Was to study the relationship between character psychology in movies and literature. Using qualitative research methods with textual analysis to obtain insightful information. The study found that the loss of character results in hypothermia. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), the repeated loss of a loved one, forces the characters to seek a way out of such feelings. using Buddhist methods to heal and ultimately understand human death.
