Abstract: This research is a research and development research. The objective is to develop a model community for elderly health with sustainable folk wisdom in Buriram Province in Chum Het Municipality. Buriram Province The research was conducted in 4 steps as follows: Step 1 To analyze the current condition of the elderly's health and the community context of the elderly. in Chum Het Subdistrict Buriram Province The sample consisted of 258 elderly people in Chum Het Sub-district. It is a general information inquiry form. and the Thai brain performance test developed by the Thai Brain Rehabilitation Group (1993). Data were analyzed using basic statistics. Step 2: Develop a model community model for elderly health with sustainable folk wisdom in the community in Buriram Province. sample group Represented 3 groups of network members, totaling 29 people who attended the group discussion meeting. and use the data to fuse into a series of activities. Step 3: Experiment with the model community model for elderly health with sustainable folk wisdom in the community. Buriram Province sample group There are 30 elderly people aged 60 years and over. Step 4: Evaluate and improve the model community model for elderly health with sustainable folk wisdom in the community. Buriram Province The research tools consisted of: 1) General Information Questionnaire 2) Community model, elderly health model with sustainable folk wisdom in the community. Buriram Province 3) satisfaction assessment form and behavioral observation form Analyze the data using basic statistics. The results showed that 1. Current condition of the elderly and dementia in Chumfut Sub-district Buriram Province found that the elderly had frequent forgetfulness, unable to calculate numbers, rarely remembering recent events, 51.16 percent suspected dementia, 6.60 percent, most of them had no knowledge of dementia among the elderly. Hundreds 94.18 each had a congenital disease High blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, stroke which is a risk factor for dementia 76.03%2. Developing a model community for elderly health with sustainable folk wisdom consists of 3 sub-activities: 1) Health 2) Participation. (Participation) 3) Having security and stability (Security) 3. Developing a model community model for elderly health with sustainable folk wisdom be appropriate possibility and the overall usefulness is at the highest level with an average of 4.70 (S.D = 0.50) 4. The sample group had the highest level of satisfaction with the development of the elderly health model community model with sustainable folk wisdom at 4.61 (SD = 0.49).
