Abstract: The objectives of this research are: 1) to develop the historical and natural tourism promotion web application prototype of Uttaradit Province on a geographical map and 2) evaluate the effectiveness of the historical and natural tourism promotion web application prototype of Uttaradit Province on a Geographic Map. Data used in the experiment are tourist attractions in Uttaradit Province. Research tools consisted of the experimental tool and data collection tool. The experiment tool is the web application promoting historical and natural tourism of Uttaradit Province on a geographic map developed by PHP, Java Script, HTML, CSS, connected to a MySQL database. Data collection tool is a system performance evaluation form. The research implemented according to 5 steps of software development life cycle concept: 1) problem and requirement Analysis 2) system design, 3) system development, 4) system testing, and 5) evaluation by 5 experts selecting from purposive sampling. The results of the project development found that 1) from the developed web application prototype promoting historical and natural tourism of Uttaradit Province on the developed geographic map, location information, local goodies, current location identification of the user, web site press released, and location inquiry can be displayed, and 2) the efficiency of the proposed system evaluated by five experts is in highest level ( ̅=4.74, S.D.=0.37).
