Abstract: At present, Economic, Social and Environmental problems are becoming more and more severe. Because it arises from the adoption of a capitalist economic system to develop the country's economy. Makes various problems more complicated. until some problems are difficult to solve. This makes businesses realize the importance of running a business as a social enterprise. All types of businesses can be social enterprises. For social enterprises are businesses that operate like any other business. Products are produced and sold to generate profits. But the profits generated from the business are not shared with any shareholder or owner. The profits of social enterprises are split into two parts. The first part is brought back to the business so that the business can survive while making a profit. The second part is returned to society in a form various, both monetary and non-monetary. This profit can be measured by a number of indices, such as improved quality of life and social structure. The importance of bringing profits back to society. to solve social problems, that is that the community can be self-reliant. without having to wait for help from outside organizations. or the government alone. Strengthen the community. There is a better development. able to improve the way of living of the people in the community in a sustainable way This article therefore aims to present the important concepts of social enterprise. which will lead to sustainable development.
