Abstract: Community – based tourism is important to the restoration of the tourism sector in the country after the situation of COVID-19. According to community-based tourism is one form of the sustainable tourism that plays a crucial role in enhancing economic value leading to real income distribution opportunities to the community. In this regard, community – based tourism promotion and development is a vital policy in building capacity for communities and creating tourism opportunities. Therefore, the community can learn from the COVID-19 crisis and be able to build confidence and improve sustainable tourism management in the future, communities should be resilient after a crisis with the main guidelines; 1) Cope 2) Adapt and 3) Transform based on the 7-resilience principle findings to apply and integrate with the 4 elements of community-based tourism; natural and culture resources, management, community and learning under tourism carrying capacity and SHA
