Abstract: This research aims to 1) study dental out-patient service pattern of dental hospital, Khon Kaen University, 2) search for invention to promote effectiveness of dental out-patient service. This research was a research and development (R&D) by using quasi-experimental study with one group of sample by measuring value of pre-andpost experiment. The samples were 435 persons. Research tools were online questionnaire and waiting time recorder, analyzed data with frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, and dependent group T-test (pair T-test), The significant was defined as 0.05. The result showed 1) the new service reduced the wasted step from 5 to 4 steps process, resulted in service time is reduced, 2) the average score of out-patient’s satisfactory among the new service process, comparing with the old one was significantly different (P = 0.05), 3) the process time (PT) was shortest 55 minutes and longest 60 minutes, and the total-turn-around time (TAT) was shortest 65 minutes and longest 81 minutes.
