Abstract: | This descriptive research aimed to study the relationship between the COVID-19 knowledge, adaptive attitudes and new normal behaviors with regard to the prevention of the new variant of coronavirus among personnel at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University. Random multi-step method was used to recruit the participants yielding the sample group of 237 people. Data was analyzed using the descriptive statistics, and Pearson's correlation was utilized to test for correlation between variables. The results of the research revealed that the samples had a high level of COVID-19 knowledge and adaptive attitude, whereas new normal behaviors practices to prevent COVID-19 infection at a very good level. When analyzing the relationship between all variables, it was found that knowledge of COVID- 19 and adaptative attitudes were associated with low levels (r = 0.25, p < 0.01). Knowledge of COVID-19 and adaptive attitudes were highly positively correlated with new preventive lifestyle behaviors (r = 0.53, p < 0.05, r = 0.81, p = 0. 01) respectively It can be concluded that the university personnel had a statistically high level of knowledge of COVID-19 and a new lifestyle adaptation attitude resulting in high new normal behavior practices to prevent COVID-19 infection. |
