| dc.description.abstract | The purposes of this research were to 1) study the level of school safety management in small-sized schools under the Thung Tako Education Network, and 2) study guidelines for developing school safety management in small-sized schools under the Thung Tako Education Network, Chumphon Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The study focused on 4 aspects: student support systems, building and facility safety, environmental cleanliness, and student health promotion. The population for the quantitative phase consisted of 37 teachers in small-sized schools under the Thung Tako Education Network. The key informants for the qualitative phase included 3 school administrators within the network. The research instruments comprised a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire with a total reliability of 0.881, and a semi-structured interview. Quantitative data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation, while qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. The research results revealed that: 1) The overall level of school safety management in small-sized schools under the Thung Tako Education Network, Chumphon Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, was at the highest level (µ=4.52). When considered individually, the aspects with the highest identical mean scores were student support systems and building and facility safety (µ=4.56), followed by environmental cleanliness (µ=4.51), while student health promotion had the lowest mean score (µ=4.46). 2) The guidelines for developing school safety management in small-sized schools under the Thung Tako Education Network consisted of a total of 25 guidelines. Key highlights indicated that school administrators should prioritize proactive home visits for individualized student support, conduct regular facility maintenance alongside enhanced security measures against outsiders, promote student participation in maintaining a hygienic environment, and establish collaborative networks for proactive healthcare with efficient emergency response systems. | en_US |
