Abstract: The purposes of this research were to study the administration and guidelines for school administration toward excellence at Rachawinit School under the Bangkok Primary Educational Service Area Office. The study covered seven aspects: leadership, strategic planning, customer and stakeholder focus, measurement analysis and knowledge management, workforce focus, process management, and results. The population consisted of 108 school administrators and teachers at Rachawinit School. The research instruments consisted of a five-point Likert scale questionnaire, with an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) ranging from 0.67 to 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.95, along with a semi-structured interview. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The research findings revealed that the overall level of school administration toward excellence at Rachawinit School was high. When considered by each aspect, it was found that measurement, analysis, and knowledge management had the highest mean score, followed by results, while strategic planning had the lowest mean score. The guidelines for achieving excellence in educational administration indicated that school administrators implemented educational development plans and 3–5 year strategic plans, applied SWOT Analysis to examine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and utilized information and empirical evidence in educational development. Additionally, they promoted participation and teamwork among teachers and staff, assigned tasks based on knowledge, abilities, and competencies, emphasized learner-centered instruction, and ensured the efficient and effective use of resources and budget.
