Internal Quality Assurance in Educational Institutions at Anuban Bandan School Under the Office of Ranong Primary Educational Service Area

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study the implementation of internal quality assurance and to identify guidelines for the internal quality assurance operations of Anuban Bandan School under the Office of Ranong Primary Educational Service Area. The study focused on six aspects: setting educational standards for the institution, formulating educational development plans aimed at quality based on educational standards, implementing educational development plans, evaluating and auditing internal educational quality, monitoring operations for institutional quality improvement and reparing self-assessment reports. The population for this research consisted of 33 teachers at Anuban Bandan School under the Office of Ranong Primary Educational Service Area during the 2025 academic year. The research instruments included a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire with a reliability of 0.982 and a semi-structured interview. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The study revealed that the internal quality assurance operations of Anuban Bandan School, under the Office of Ranong Primary Educational Service Area, were overall at the highest level across all six aspects. Individually, formulating educational development plans aimed at quality based on educational standards the highest mean, followed by setting educational standards for the institution, while evaluating and auditing internal educational quality recorded the lowest mean. Guidelines for Internal Quality Assurance: School administrators have clearly defined development directions based on educational standards, coupled with an analysis of the school's context and providing opportunities for all stakeholders to participate in defining standards and developing systematic development plans. In addition, there is continuous supervision, monitoring, and evaluation, including the systematic preparation of Self-Assessment Reports (SARs), and the evaluation results are used as a basis for planning the continuous and sustainable development of educational quality in the following year.
