Teachers' Opinions toward Knowledge Management of Sawiwittaya School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suratthani Chumphon

Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) investigate teachers' opinions toward the knowledge management of Sawiwittaya School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suratthani–Chumphon, and (2) synthesize guidelines for developing the school's knowledge management. The research participants consisted of 92 teachers of Sawiwittaya School in the 2025 academic year and three key informants involved in the school's knowledge management. The research instruments were a five-point rating scale questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of .974 and a semi-structured interview. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The findings revealed that teachers' opinions toward the school's knowledge management were at a high level overall across six aspects. The highest-rated aspect was knowledge application and validation, followed by knowledge transfer and dissemination, while knowledge storage received the lowest rating. Content analysis resulted in 57 development guidelines, including promoting access to diverse knowledge sources, encouraging knowledge creation through lesson-learned processes, developing digital knowledge storage systems, applying information technology for data analysis, facilitating knowledge sharing through appropriate channels, and supporting the practical application of knowledge with continuous monitoring and evaluation.
