Abstract: Developing emotional intelligence is crucial for school administrators because it impacts human resource management, fosters effective communication skills, and promotes understanding and collaboration within teams. It also facilitates learning to embrace diversity in emotions and expressions. Creating a conducive atmosphere for learning and working is essential for everyone in the school. School administrators should exemplify the best practices in managing their own and others' emotions, reflecting their emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is necessary for administrators because it significantly contributes to problem-solving in schools. It reflects that school administrators possess emotional intelligence, which means they understand themselves and can manage their emotions effectively. Administrators who can control their emotions or exhibit appropriate emotional expressions create a respectful, happy, and mentally healthy work environment, promoting efficiency through collective effort from everyone in the school.
