dc.description.abstract | This article aims to study the mental health status of the elderly during the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) causing a large number of COVID-19 cases worldwide, affecting the economy physical health especially mentally. Although vaccines are currently being used to prevent and reduce the severity of COVID-19, people are still anxiety, stress and depression to the point that it is a mental health problem for people in all areas. Especially in the elderly population which are at risk of mental health problems especially in Thailand that is entering an aging society. Nakhon Pathom Province is a densely populated metropolitan area and also found that the elderly group is an upward trend. The survey of mental health screening for the elderly in the community Phrongmaduea Sub-district, Mueang District, Nakhon Pathom Province. It was found that the elderly with anxiety, stress and depression to Increased. If these elderly people are unable to adapt to the COVID situation that does not appear to be gone. There is a risk of mental health problems as the elderly are a group of people with physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual changes. Therefore, screening for mental health conditions is an important step that is useful for analyzing data and finding ways to manage mental health problems among the elderly in the community. | en_US |
