dc.description.abstract | The objectives of this research were: 1) to study behaviors of information seeking of English students. 2) to study problems of information seeking of English students; and 3) to compare of problems of information seeking of English students at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University divided by gender and year level. The samples were 138 English students of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University in the academic year 1/2022. The research instrument was questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results of this research showed that: 1) students seek for information to search for information, there is seeking for information every day, use personal information sources, namely teachers/scholars in educational institutions, the source of institutional information is the Academic Resources and Information Technology, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, the other type of information source is the Internet, use notebook computer to search for information, search from the library’ s Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), and use information content in Thai language, 2) the students had a moderate level of information seeking problems which the most problem of seeking information is information resources, followed by information sources and the information seeker, and 3) the students with different genders and incomes had no overall aspect problems of information seeking, and the students with different year levels overall aspect problems of information seeking were different with statistically significant level at 05. The first-year and the second-year students had different problems in seeking information from the third -year and the fourth-year students with statistically significant level at 05. | en_US |
