The Effect of Chatbot Program for Oral Health Care Promotion in Care Givers of Pre-school Children, Child Development Center Trang Municipality, Mueang Trang District, Trang Province

Abstract

The research project entitle was the effect of chatbot program for oral health care promotion in care givers of pre-school children, Child Development Center Trang Municipality, Mueang Trang District, Trang Province. This research was quasi-experimental research. The objectives of this research were (1) to develop as well as find out the efficiency of the chatbot program for oral health care promotion in care givers of pre-school children was 70/70 set criterion, (2) to compare the achievement post-test and pre-test from the chatbot program for oral health care promotion in care givers of pre-school children, and (3) To study satisfaction of the care givers of pre-school children towards chatbot program for oral health care promotion. Population of this research amount 396 care givers of pre-school children, Child Development Center Trang Municipality, Mueang Trang District, Trang Province. Samples of 39 care givers of pre-school children were calculated and recruited by systematic sampling. The results reveal that the difference between pre-test and post-test mean scores were statistically significant by using paired t-test (p < 0.001). In addition, satisfaction evaluation was performed and founded that most of the care givers of pre-school children towards chatbot program for oral health care promotion had high level of satisfaction.
