dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study was to find pulmonary function and factors associated with pulmonary function among 150 motorcycle taxi drivers in Mueang District, Nakhon Pathom Province. It was a cross-sectional descriptive study. Data were collected by using face-to-face interviews and spirometer and were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and chi-square test. The study found that motorcycle taxi drivers were abnormal pulmonary function (88.0%). No factors were associated with pulmonary function, gender (p=0.849), age (p=0.396), working experience (p=0.409), working hours per day (p=0.702), smoking history (0.487), and history of exercise (p=0.728). These findings may be the health information in promotion, prevention, surveillance, and control of hazards from pulmonary function among motorcycle taxi drivers in the future. | en_US |
