An analysis Study of the outstanding local wisdom of the Lao Khrang ethnic group in Nakhon Pathom Province.

Abstract

The objectives of this article are to 1) study the local wisdom source of Lao Khrang ethnic group and 2) analyze the outstanding local wisdom of Lao Khrang ethnic group in Nakhon Pathom Province. Using qualitative research, data was collected including documentary analysis, In-depth interview, focus group and participant observation. The study was carried out in 5 sub-districts: 1) Phrong Maduea Municipality 2) Wang Nam Khiao 3) Huai Muang 4) Huai Duan and 5) Lam Hai. The results of the study showed that 1) the source of local wisdom of the Lao Khrang ethnic group, It comes from a way of life that arises from the repeated use of intelligence to solve the problems facing the moment. At the same time, it invented some tools using existing raw materials to fund something that would facilitate modern living, as well as weaving clothing for personal use. The solution is based on the condition of the local community with balance between humans and the environment and have been imitating each other without any rights reserved, it has become a body of knowledge that has been passed on and passed on through generations to the present; and 2) outstanding local wisdom of the Lao Khrang ethnic group in Nakhon Pathom province. Whether the colors and patterns are eye-catching and make a captivating impression on the viewers. The clothes clearly convey the Lao Khrang ethnicity. Create identity for the Lao Khrang ethnicity to be different from other ethnicities by default. It can also create both traditional and contemporary works of art as well as creative products that are beautiful and perfect.
