dc.description.abstractThe objective of this article was to propose the development and operation mechanism, including the results of food safety handling to promote school age children with a slender body at Watsamngam (Kongthong Anusorn) school. The study methodology was qualitative research by the lesson learned of the conducting a project. The research instruments were focus group discussion and in-depth interview. The results of this study were found that the development and operation mechanism was caused by linking people and agencies that are involved in the project into as working group to empower. Operation process were establishing a working group, planning action, implementation of the plan, evaluation and reporting. The important mechanism of driving action plan is coordinator of project and the support of school principal in the activities. The results of implementation were four aspects. The mechanism aspect: there was the strong working group and the link with food safety groups in the community. The environment aspect: there was an increase in vegetable planting area in school. The health behavior aspect: school age children have been food safety all 3 meals and there was higher physical activity. The health aspect: the nutritional status levels at normal range was increasing. Thus, the success issues were condluded that school age children have been food safety, and the slender body was increasing.en_US
