New Agricultural Management for Smart Farmers of Nakhon Pathom Province

Abstract

The purpose of this study 1) to study the management of a new agriculture for smart farmers of Nakhon Pathom Province, 2) to study the management guidelines of a new agriculture for smart farmers of Nakhon Pathom Province. The sample is the smart farmers 297 persons. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis. The results of the study the management of a new agriculture for smart farmers the overall management is at a high level when considering each in descending order as follows, awareness of product quality and consumer safety, the pride of being a farmer, productivity and marketing management, environmental and social responsibility, information for decision making, and knowledge in current matters. As for the new agricultural management guidelines for the new generation of smart farmers as follows, awareness of product quality and consumer safety should be develop agricultural products by taking into account the quality of the produce and providing the standard, the pride of being a farmer should motivate oneself and others to develop, productivity and marketing management, environmental and social responsibility should be distribute the products obtained by processing into various forms, information for decision making should collect various information for use in farming , knowledge in current matters should apply skills and expertise to be used as a facilitator in the process of transferring knowledge to other farmers.
