This survey study was aimed to describe the perception and preventative behaviors for the coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19). The sample size was 35 village health volunteers. Data were collected through questionnaire which has shown Cronbach alpha coefficient of perceived susceptibility 0.73, Perceived benefits 0.96, Perceived barriers 0.88, and Preventive behaviors 0.89. Data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The study has shown that preventive behaviors (􀝔􀒧 = 70.82.17, SD = 15.16) of the COVID-19 prevention among village health volunteers were moderate level. However, they had low level of perceived barriers (􀝔􀒧 =13.17, SD = 6.22) and understanding concerning perceived susceptibility (􀝔􀒧 =15.89, SD = 5.33). Furthermore, they had lowest level of perceived benefits (􀝔􀒧 =26.91, SD = 12.34), moreover, perception of preventive behaviors was high positively correlated with perceived susceptibility (r = 0.78, p-value <0.01), Perceived benefits (r = 0.890, p-value <0.01), and Perceived barriers (r= 0.78, p-value <0.01) among village health volunteers. Therefore, the findings suggest organizations should provide continuing information and training to village health volunteers.en_US
