dc.description.abstractIn this work, studies the effect of Nd2O3 concentration on the physical properties of strontium barium phosphate glasses. The glass samples were prepared by the melt-quenching technique at 1200 ๐C. The results found that, when the Nd2O3 concentration doped in glasses is increased, the result shows the increasing trends of the density, while the molar volume were decreased. The refractive index of glass samples has increasing trends when Nd2O3 concentration increases. Furthermore, the Vickers hardness of barium phosphate glasses tended to increase with increasing Nd2O3 contents up to 1.00 mol% thereafter decrease.en_US
